Final conference of the project Writers Against Hate Speech

On December 3 Writers House of Georgia will host the final conference of PEN Georgia project Writers Against Hate Speech.
The project aims to start a dialogue on Hate Speech and raise its public awareness in the countries of Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine). There will be three public lectures and a conference held in frames of the project.

Conference speakers and project contributors are:
Hasmik Simonian (Armenia);
Marine Petrossian (Armenia);
Ali Novruzov (Azerbaijan);
Günel Mövlud (Azerbaijan);
Volha Hapeyeva (Belarus);
Irakli Lomouri (Georgia);
Ketevan Kantaria (Georgia);
Inna Cebotari (Moldova);
Paula Erizanu (Moldova);
Ostap Slyvynsky (Ukraine);
Yury Zavadsky (Ukraine).

Another contributor is a Belarussian author Uladzislau Ivanou, who is not able to attend the conference.

The authors will present speeches on Hate Speech in their home countries and about the fight against it. Their articles related to the speech topics are published on the project webpage www.hatecontrol.ge
