Yury R. Zavadsky,
poet, literary critic, PhD (Ukrainian: Candidate of Philology).
Born in Ukraine in Ternopil, March 18, 1981.
He graduated from the Ternopil secondary school #18.
In 2006 completed his postgraduate studies at the Department of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature of the Faculty of Ternopil National Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Hnatiuk, which came after the same University in 2003. Subject of dissertation – “Typology and the Poetics of Network Literature and Modern Western Literature”. Awardment of Ph.D. took place on October 12, 2006 in Ternopil.
Today – assistant of Computer Sciences and Teaching Department of Physical Science and Mathematics Faculty and asistant of Journalism Department of the Philological Faculty of Ternopil National Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Hnatiuk.
Since April 2008 manages literary studio “87” in V.Hnatyuk University.
Research interests – contemporary visual poetry and computer technology in art.
Currently is a member of the editorial board of scientific almanac STUDIA METHODOLOGICA.
Author of four poetical collections and hypertextual poem “Cyharky”.
